Now

I’m now a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, on Systems Infrastructure. Back to building — new team, new stack, same itch.

After 12.5 years, my run at Meta ended in a round of layoffs in July. A dozen-plus years on developer infrastructure, then, for the first time in a long while, a clean pause — time to reset, reflect, and be around for my kid while the days still feel long.

Pouring the spare hours back into the house — a run of improvement projects, and a home gym I’m kitting out piece by piece.

Picking up video games after a few years away — turns out a young kid and a backlog don’t mix. The backlog, of course, is still right where I left it.
