What I’m focused on these days
The break
After 12.5 years, my run at Meta ended in a round of layoffs — a dozen-plus years on developer infrastructure, and now, for the first time in a long while, a clean pause. Time to reset, reflect, and be around for my kid while the days still feel long.
What’s next
No hurry, but listening. I’m open to what comes next — early-stage startups especially, where the team is small, the ownership is real, and the infrastructure gets built from scratch instead of maintained at scale. If that sounds like you, say hello.
At home
Pouring the spare hours back into the house — a run of improvement projects, and a home gym I’m kitting out piece by piece.
Playing again
Picking up video games after a few years away — turns out a young kid and a backlog don’t mix. The backlog, of course, is still right where I left it.
This is a now page.
